Today AFP reported the approvation of the electoral law for the provincial councils by the three-member presidency council, the president of Iraq Jalal Talabani and the two vice presidents Adel Abdel Mahdi and Tareq al-Hashemi.
As for the article 50 an official source who is a member of PUK and was present at the meeting, told AFP that “The presidency council called on MPs to reinstate the clause.”
