As reported by the agency "Awzat to Iraq" the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki issued today his first statement related to the abduction of the Chaldean bishop of Mosul, Mgr. Faraj Rahho Paulus, and the killing of his driver and two of his bodyguards.
"Any attack to Christians is an attack to all Iraq," this was the comment by the Shiite prime minister in a letter addressed to the Chaldean Patriarch Cardinal Emmanuel III Delly in which he expressed his deep regret assuring he is following the case with particolar attention, and informed the Cardinal to have issued a directive for the Ministry of the Interior and the police forces in Niniveh governatorate to solve it as soon as possible.
