"La situazione sta peggiorando. Gridate con noi che i diritti umani sono calpestati da persone che parlano in nome di Dio ma che non sanno nulla di Lui che è Amore, mentre loro agiscono spinti dal rancore e dall'odio.
Gridate: Oh! Signore, abbi misericordia dell'Uomo."

The Christian community in Mosul is growing in number despite the diffiucult situation of the country and the city.
The Syriac Orthodox bishop of Mosul, Msgr. Saliba Chamoun, will soon have an aide as decided by the Patriarch Mor Ignatius Zakka I.
Fr. David Sharaf, after serving for more than three years in the church of Mar Malke in Sydney, will serve as Mosul bishop's aide going back to the city where he was born in 1976.
Before being sent to Australia Fr. David, who has a BA in Theology, taught at the Theological Seminary in the College of Mar Ephrem, served as a priest for three months in Sweden and then went to study to the University of Athens (Greece) before going back to teach at the Theological Seminary.
