During the Mass which is going to be celebrated at the Vatican tomorrow, for the souls of the Archbishop of Mossul, Msgr. Rahho, and of all the victims of the Iraqi War, a letter written by the Chaldean patriarch of Baghdad, Cardinal Emmanuel III Delly, will be read. SIR was told that by the patriarch himself, who talked about its content in advance:

Rahho, and of all the victims of the Iraqi War, a letter written by the Chaldean patriarch of Baghdad, Cardinal Emmanuel III Delly, will be read. SIR was told that by the patriarch himself, who talked about its content in advance:
“I wrote to the Congregation for Oriental Churches to thank the prefect, Card. Leonardo Sandri, for this initiative – stated Delly - we are together with them to ask the Lord peace and tranquillity, and we thank the Holy Father for this closeness in the name of the whole church, the whole episcopate, and the Chaldean people. I thank all the present people and all the believers who pray for this intention with all my heart”.
