Mgr. Basel George Casmoussa, the syriac catholic Archbishop of Mosul who is heading the negotiations with the kidnappers of Fr. PiusAfas and Fr. Mazen Ishoa, declared to MISNA that with the ultimatum for the delivery of the ransom established by the captors by tomorrow “we had no call call from them neither yesterday nor today.” Mgr. Casmoussa met the realatives of one of the two priests: “Fr. Pius has no relatives but I met Fr. Mazen’s brother and told him to be confident and to pray.”
