"La situazione sta peggiorando. Gridate con noi che i diritti umani sono calpestati da persone che parlano in nome di Dio ma che non sanno nulla di Lui che è Amore, mentre loro agiscono spinti dal rancore e dall'odio.
Gridate: Oh! Signore, abbi misericordia dell'Uomo."

Source: ADNKronos

In an interview to ADNKronos the spokesman of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, Ahmed Abu Raghif, said that Minister of Interior Jawad Al-Bulani ordered the creation of a special force for the protection of the Christian places of worship after the last wave of bombings of July 12. A special committee led by Major General Hikmat Moussa, Undersecretary of State for Police Affairs, will monitor the operations. According to Ahmed Abu Raghif the protection of the places of worship is necessary to oppose the attempts of terrorists to undermine the security achieved after the withdrawal of American troops from the cities, and to affirm the role of Iraqi security forces. About the expected course of the operation the explosives expert of the Ministry, General Jihad Aljabari, said that the forces responsible for the protection of the places of worship have been given modern equipment to detect the explosives, and that the men were trained for their use. In a statement to ADNkronos Aljabari said that the terrorist attacks to the places of worship are part of a scheme aiming at giving the impression that the situation is still far from being normalized. Meanwhile Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki, who in recent days met the Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, Cardinal Mar Emmanuel III Delly, said that the government is working to ensure the protection of the places of worship of all religions practiced in Iraq, and engaged the Government in the reconstruction of those damaged by the attacks, including churches.
