The interpretation of what will happen after the recent attacks on the churches in Baghdad and Mosul is uninanimous: many of them will flee. To say this is Msgr. Shleimun Warduni from Baghdad who admits that the episodes will frighten the Christians who will fear attending the functions and perhaps will leave the country, and Msgr. Louis Sako from Kirkuk, who reads the attacks as a message addressed to the Christians who already left the country: do not come back.
Meanwhile the situation is bettering in the province of Mosul, where at 14:00 Iraqi time the car ban to and from the villages inhabited by a Christian majority near the city has been lifted.
