Some days before the end of Ramadan the Chaldean community in Baghdad wanted to give a tangible sign of its proximity to the Muslim community of the city. As reported to Baghdahope by Msgr. Shleimun Warduni, Chaldean Patriarchal Vicar, last night in the parish of the Virgin Mary a big dinner broke the daily fast that marks the holy month for Muslims. About 250 people among Christian and Muslim religious leaders, government and institutions representatives, tribal leaders and guests, members of all ethnicities and religions in the country experienced moments of peace and brotherhood in the sign of the desire for conciliation and peace.
