On March 31 Baghdadhope reported the piece of news of a katiusha rocket that in Baghdad damaged Beyt 'Ania house, a house that shelters men and women, Christians and Muslims, sick, elderly, but especially without a family supporting them in the difficult fate of being “the least” in a society where even young and strong people live in constant danger.
Fortunately, the rocket caused only material damage and certainly did not extinguish the hopes and the courage of those living and working in Beyt'Ania, so that this afternoon, with a Mass celebrated by the Syriac Catholic bishop of Baghdad, Mgr. Matti Shaba Mattoka, the eighth year of the house was celebrated.
The announcement made by e-mail ends with a sentence that is both a proclamation of faith and an implicit request: "Your prayers support us."
