According to an official communiqué undersigned by Chaldean Patriarch Mar Emmanuel III Delly and by Mgr. Avak Asadorian, bishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Council of the Leaders of Christian Churches in Iraq strongly condemns the attack to the Abdul Qader Al Kilani Sunni mosque in the Sinak area in Baghdad.
The attack “to all Iraq and all Iraqis without exception can undermine the unity of the country and to foment discord and division.”
The Christian leaders appeal also to unity and love among all the factions and religions of Iraq, homeland of human civilization.
