During a visit to San Diego the Iraqi Ambassador in Washington, Samir Shakir Mahmoud Sumaida'ie, met several personalities of the Iraqi community living in the Californian city. Between them lay people but also religious exponents as Mgr. Sarhad Y. Jammo of the Chaldean Eparchy of Western United States, who was accompanied by Mgr. Felix Shabi. During the meeting it was also discussed the possibility of opening an Iraqi consulate in the Western United States to follow the interests and the needs of Iraqis living there.
