Dozens of Christian boys and girls hospitalized in Erbil.
This morning, as reported to Baghdadhope by Father Rayan Atto from Erbil, the convoy of buses that every morning carry university students from Qaraqosh, a village almost entirely Christian, to the University of Mosul, was attacked soon after leaving the village and getting over the first checkpoint of Iraqi forces.A car bomb parked by the roadside exploded right at the passage of the vehicles, three of which were hit by the explosion. Each bus, according to Father Atto, was carrying about 50 students who are now pouring into hospitals for the treatments. Among the first 10 students transported to the hospital in Erbil a boy and a girl appear by now in serious condition for head injuries. The Christian population of Erbil and nearby villages is going to the hospital to have news and to donate blood.
