In recent days three priests of the Chaldean church celebrated their 25 years of priestly service: Father Emanuel Shaleta, appointed in the same days as Chorepiscop, Father Yoshi Lazar and Msgr. Philip Najm, Apostolic Visitator for Europe and Procurator to the Holy See. The celebration that marked Msgr. Najim's 25th anniversary of priesthood was held in Sweden, and specifically in the city of Eskilstuna in the church of Mar Ephrem on May 31. Celebrants were Msgr. Najim, Father Paul Rabban, the priest of the Chaldean community in the city, and Father Sami Al Rais, parish priest of the church of Addai and Mari in Essen (Germany) and secretary of the Chaldean priests in Europe. After the mass, and to celebrate also the end of the month dedicated to Mary, the three priests led the faithful in procession outside the church.
