Released in Kenya Maria Teresa Olivero and Caterina Giraudo, the two nuns abducted three months and ten days ago.
One on them is the sister of Don Fredo Olivero, a longtime friend of Iraqi Christian community.
Baghdadhope contacted some of the Chaldean bishops and priests in Iraq and Italy who unanimously reacted describing this as a great day and the news as a "very good one".
It must be noticed that the Chaldean representatives who in past years met Don Fredo Olivero in this long months of waiting many times expressed their closeness to him and prayed for the release of the two nuns. Especially those of them who had the same experience of abduction, as Fr. Douglas Al Bazi who was held by his abductors for ten days in 2006 and who spent a long time in Torino, Don Fredo Olivero's city.
