Mustafa Al-Kazemi: Christians in Iraq are an authentic component and we will preserve it.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed that the Iraqi security services are continuing to make all efforts to preserve the property of Iraqi Christians and their legal rights. Al-Kazemi said during his meeting with Patriarch Mar Awa III Ruel, on the occasion of his inauguration as head of the Assyrian Church of the East in Iraq and the world. 
He said that it is the government's duty to provide security for Christians and other components in Iraq, whether they are inside or outside the country. Al-Kazemi expressed Iraq's pride in all the authentic components and their sects, including the Christian spectrum, whose presence in Iraq extends to the depths of history, stressing the need to preserve religious and ethnic diversity in Iraq.
