The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) stated that it is about to complete the reconstruction of the Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Syriac Catholic Church in Mosul, northern Iraq,
The church reconstruction, which will be funded by the United Arab Emirates, included the installation of new bells made in Italy in one of the oldest foundries in the world.
Collective efforts were made to restore this landmark which is rooted in cultural diversity, with its vibrant architecture and activities.
