Four wanted men involved in displacing and killing Christians and a journalist in Mosul were arrested on Wednesday, according to an army source.
“An army force arrested on Wednesday four wanted men in al-Sadeq and al-Zahraa neighborhoods, eastern Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The detainees confessed to killing and displacing Christians, through different kinds of attacks, including the attack by a car bomb which targeted the Christian students of Mosul university in Koukegli region, eastern Mosul, last year,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, noting that they also killed the correspondent of al-Mouseliya channel, Mazen al-Booughdadi, when they stormed his house in al-Sedeq neighborhood, eastern Mosul, last November 21.
“Baghdad ha perduto la sua bellezza e non ne è rimasto che il nome.
Rispetto a ciò che essa era un tempo, prima che gli eventi la colpissero e gli occhi delle calamità si rivolgessero a lei, essa non è più che una traccia annullata, o una sembianza di emergente fantasma.”
