Dying at 22 in Mosul. Christians in the sight.

The funeral ceremony for Zaiya Toma Soro, the Christian student killed yesterday in Mosul, was held this morning in Dohuk, in the far north of Iraq. Preceded by a delegation of scouts and almost protected by the people surrounding it the coffin passed through the streets of the town for the funeral service attended among the others by Msgr. Isaac Yousip, bishop of the Assyrian Church of the East, and for the burial.
Toma Soro Zaiya was born in 1987. He was a first year student at the Institute of Technology at University of Mosul and a member of the Chaldoassyrian Union of Students and Youth. According to a source of Ankawa.com whose name was not reported, Toma Zaia Soro, who was accompanied by another student, Ramzi Shama'il, a relative of him, was stopped by two men who pretended to belong to the security forces and who shot at him. The shots wounded Ramzi Shama'il who was admitted to hospital, and killed Zaiya Toma Soro, who was shot in the back of the neck too. According to the witness who spoke to Ankawa.com policemen who were near the crime scene did not intervene quickly to save the life of the student.
